Privacy Enhancing Technologies Workshop Paper Distribution Agreement, May
2004
This agreement was used at the 2004 PET Workshop.
It is herein agreed that:
The undersigned Contracting Author warrants that he/she is authorized by all
authors of this work and others who lay ownership claim to it (for example,
employers of authors) to enter into this agreement.
The undersigned grants an exclusive right of distribution of the above work to
Springer-Verlag Heidelberg New York, for a period of three years starting from
the date of publication by Springer. This covers the right of Springer to
reproduce and distribute the work, including reprints, translations,
photographic reproductions, microform, electronic form (offline, online), or any
other reproductions of a similar nature.
Until this three year period has expired, the authors may also publish the work
on their personal Web pages, provided that a link to an appropriate Springer-Verlag
LNCS page (such as http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/index.html) is prominently
displayed.
The authors may not publish the work anywhere else during this period without
the prior written permission of Springer, unless it has been changed
substantially.
After the three year period has expired, the undersigned agrees to extend a
nonexclusive right of distribution to the PET Board and its designee(s). This
covers the right to reproduce and distribute the contribution, including
reprints, translations, photographic reproductions, microform, electronic form
(offline, online), or any other reproductions of a similar nature.
The undersigned warrants that the above contribution is original, except for
such excerpts from copyrighted works as may be included with the permission of
the copyright holder and author thereof, that it contains no libelous
statements, and does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, patent, statutory
right, or propriety right of others.
The undersigned signs for and accepts responsibility for releasing this material
on behalf of any and all coauthors.
In return for these rights:
The PET Board will arrange publication of the contribution in a Springer-Verlag
LNCS volume. The PET Board understands that Springer will allow authors to
purchase for their personal use books published by Springer-Verlag with a
discount of 33 1/3% off the list price. Resale of such copies is not permitted.
